After graduation he was the Gallery Director at the "Marriott Gallery" in Somerset MA. and also had his own interior design business "Glenn Sousa Designs". He worked promoting local area fine artist with gallery shows and also did art consultations with local business.
As the designer/owner of "Glenn Sousa Design" he was commissioned by local business, churches and hospitals to do custom murals, artwork and hand painted furniture in conjunction with interior design.
Glenn later worked as Gallery Director at "International Archives" on Boston's own Newbury Street but was soon called away from that position by his clients missing him and wanting his interior design talents. In 1993 he decided to pursue his own business and love of interior design and fine furnishings.
Glenn joined the R.I. Design Center/ Thomasville Home Furnishings in 1995. He has proved to be a tremendous asset to our company and has been awarded the "Golden NIROPE" for outstanding interior design and customer service. His talents include custom window treatments, space planning, color coordination and furniture selection. His clients include Providence Performing Arts, Governor Bruce Sundland, and many many residential and commercial clients.
By using his artist eye, Glenn can design a room in any style from french country to traditional to contemporary. He looks at a house or room as a blank canvas and works with his clients to help them express their own vision thru his creative talents.
